Hello world! My name is Madison Daley, and I'm a singer-songwriter here in the beautiful city of NYC!

Going forward, I have decided to release music under the name Madame Daley. Madame Daley is theatrical, campy, cheesy extravagant glamour. She is the ringleader of the rock n roll circus. She’s the vintage old hollywood, glam rock, disco ball, feathers and jewels matriarch. She’s the cumulation of everything I love about music and performance. I’ve written the songs, picked the outfits, and fleshed out every bit of this character I’ve been developing for years. Now, I need your help to bring Madame Daley’s music to life.

The material is ready, and the musicians are waiting -- this Plaid Dog campaign is the final step toward creating my first ever, professionally produced studio album.

This campaign is raising funds for my professionally recorded album with Bryan Fennelly, a Boston-based producer and engineer working with both established and up-and-coming musicians. Together, Bryan and I are digging into my original material, writing arrangements, and reaching out to local musicians to bring the songs to life.

I’ve been able to cover the costs of recording and producing one song, which is ready for you to check out right here on this page. This first song is called “Annie, Sing Your Heart Out Anyway,” and you can check it out below!

While I’ve been able to fund the recording process for "Annie, Sing Your Heart Out Anyway" on my own, to create an album of songs of this quality, studio costs add up quickly. With that said, this campaign can give us a unique opportunity to collaborate and make great art together. Your donation will cover the following costs of my project:

1. Pre-Production: This is where everything starts. Mike and I will start crafting the arrangements for each song slated for the album. We’ll hold rehearsals to fine-tune the songs and arrangements and talk through new and exciting ideas for how to approach the recording process.

2. Recording: This is when we enter the studio and start capturing the music and where the songs become what you'll hear on this album. This campaign will play a huge role in making sure we have enough time to capture great performances for every member of the band.

3. Mixing & Mastering: Each track will get mixed to create the right balance between instruments, texture and color that make up a track. As a final step, the album will be mastered from beginning to end so that the listening experience is cohesive and carefully choreographed from start to finish.

It's hard to express how much this project would change my life.

The world can be pretty damn dark. Why not write some tunes, dance to some good music, and dress up in platform boots and feather boas? Theatrical, campy, cheesy extravagant glamour is the opposite of pretentious. It’s all for show, and that’s what makes it so damn fun.

It’s been intimidating for me to embark on such an ambitious project. Not many people today just up and claim they’re going to start making music under a glam rock stage persona, and of course I’ve wondered whether I can pull it off. However, many who know me have heard me advise, in fashion and otherwise, “In order to pull something off, you put it on and say ‘I’m pulling it off.’” I’ve decided to take my own advice.

I have been in the arts my entire life as a writer, performer, musician, photographer, videographer and more, but music has always been the one constant. After graduating with a degree in Music Business and moving to NYC, I’m ready to create this ambitious idea I’ve had in my head for a long time: my musical stage persona, Madame Daley. With your support, I will channel that consistent work and experience into something new and beautiful that we have made together.
