Hello world! My name is Hannah, and I'm a singer-songwriter based out of the beautiful city of Indianapolis, Indiana.

I have been singing ever since I was 3 years old and performing ever since I was 5. Throughout these past 16 years, I have performed at a large variety of venues including outdoor shelters for birthday parties, festivals like the Italian Fest in Fountain Square and WAMMfest, restaurants like Indianapolis’ well-known German restaurant, The Rathskeller. I have sang at county fairs, nursing homes, and benefit shows and I have loved every single minute of it. I haven’t performed in awhile due to the pandemic, but that has given me a lot of time to write some really awesome things and I am so very excited to share what were once originally just ideas in my head! 

The material is ready, and the musicians are waiting -- this Plaid Dog campaign is the final step toward creating my first ever, professionally produced studio album.

This campaign is raising funds for my professionally recorded album with Bryan Brundige in Boston, MA. Bryan is a Boston-based producer and engineer with experience working with both established and up-and-coming musicians. Together, Bryan and I are digging into my original material, writing arrangements, and reaching out to local musicians to bring the songs to life. 

We’ve been able to cover the costs of recording and producing one song, which is ready for you to check out right here on this page. This first song is called “chasing,” and you can check it out below!

While I’ve been able to fund the recording process for "chasing" on my own, to create an album of songs of this quality, studio costs add up quickly. With that said, this campaign can give us a unique opportunity to collaborate and make great art together. Your donation will cover the following costs of my project:

1. Pre-Production: This is where everything starts. Bryan and I will start crafting the arrangements for each song slated for the album. We’ll hold rehearsals to fine-tune the songs and arrangements and talk through new and exciting ideas for how to approach the recording process.

2. Recording: This is when we enter the studio and start capturing the music and where the songs become what you'll hear on this album. This campaign will play a huge role in making sure we have enough time to capture great performances for every member of the band.

3. Mixing & Mastering: Each track will get mixed to create the right balance between instruments, texture and color that make up a track. As a final step, the album will be mastered from beginning to end so that the listening experience is cohesive and carefully choreographed from start to finish.

It's hard to express how much this project would change my life.

I believe that music has the power to help or even heal people and ever since I was 5 years old, I have always known that I wanted to contribute to that in my own way. I am very passionate about writing music in hopes to help or inspire people, which is one of the many reasons that I do what I do. I have struggled a lot over the years, and I’ve also witnessed others struggling too. I write and create not only for myself, but especially for others in the chance that they might be able to relate and find comfort in what I write about. I have always known that helping people is what I was put here to do, and not only just to help people, but to do so with music. I love getting people to see the beauty in things and to get others to see how truly beautiful music is, it’s one of my biggest goals. I’ve lost sight of my passion for music quite a few times, but I know now more than ever that I am ready to give people my all and show everyone what I have to offer.

I’ve been producing my own music for about 2-3 years now, but never really had enough resources or knowledge to create something of this caliber! However, I have managed to teach myself quite a bit in the aspect of music such as: songwriting, music production, a small bit of audio engineering, and more recently, music business! I’ve also been able to express my creativity through this campaign by designing both my cover art and merch! 

I am so thankful that my passion for music is very much alive and that it grows more and more each and every day. With your support, I believe that I will be able to fuel this fire that has ignited within me and be able to achieve this dream that I’m chasing, as well as being able to journey into the unknown together to create these new, beautiful experiences.

Being up on a stage performing is where I feel most at home. I have lost sight of who I was so many times, but when it comes to performing, I know who I am
