Hello world! My name is Fairy Best Life and I'm an artist born and raised in the enchanted city of New York.

My journey began in musical theater, where I had the honor to perform on prestigious stages of Broadway, Radio City Music Hall, and The Apollo Theater. As a performer and immersive events producer, I’ve been able to perform at indie music venues throughout NYC and collaborate with organizations such as Meow Wolf, NYRP, Burning Man, and Black Fae Day. Whether performing in gardens, castles, and troll dungeons, guiding lost souls as a mystical life coach, or hosting community gatherings of spiritual healing and enchantment, the mission stays the same – to reawaken the magic within to empower a freeing and enchanting way of life. 

The material is ready, and the musicians are waiting -- this Plaid Dog campaign is the final step toward creating my first ever, professionally produced studio album.

This campaign is raising funds for my professionally recorded album with Mike Davidson  in Boston, MA. Mike is a seasoned Boston-based producer and engineer with experience working with both established and up-and-coming musicians. Together, Mike  and I are digging into my original material, writing arrangements, and reaching out to local musicians to bring the songs to life. 

We’ve been able to cover the costs of recording and producing one song, which is ready for you to check out right here on this page. This first song is called “Wings,” and you can check it out below!

While I’ve been able to fund the recording process for "Wings” on my own, to create an album of songs of this quality, studio costs add up quickly. With that said, this campaign can give us a unique opportunity to collaborate and make great art together. Your donation will cover the following costs of my project:

1. Pre-Production: This is where everything starts.  I will start crafting the arrangements for each song slated for the album. We’ll hold rehearsals to fine-tune the songs and arrangements and talk through new and exciting ideas for how to approach the recording process.

2. Recording: This is when we enter the studio and start capturing the music. This is the phase when the songs become what you'll hear on this album. This campaign will play a huge role in making sure we have enough studio time to capture the best performances.

3. Mixing & Mastering: Each track will get mixed to create the right balance between instruments, texture and color that make up the track. As a final step, the album will be mastered from beginning to end so that the listening experience is cohesive and carefully orchestrated from start to finish.

To say this opportunity is a dream come true would be an understatement. I feel as though my whole life has been leading up to this pivotal moment. I’ve spent years re-defining my artistry, honing my gifts, and cultivating a perspective on life that has seen me through such expansive personal growth that I’m compelled to share it using the most impactful and universal language, music. 

My journey with music has been a tumultuous one– starting as a simple joy that distorted into an isolating identity, eventually becoming the medium of communication to my most authentic self, my inner child, and the Universe. During one of my darkest moments, it was a song on the wind that brought me back to myself. I may have briefly given up on music, but music never gave up on me. Finding my truth found me returning to the gift of song as my refuge, my means of empowerment and enchantment, my offering to the world.

Now more than ever it is vital for people to embrace enchantment as an act of self love, preservation, resistance, and revolution. Enchantment invites authentic expression, open minded curiosity, awe and gratitude, and most importantly, belief. The pursuit of living my Fairy Best Life has saved my life in more ways than one. With this album, I'll be able to share my journey and guide people into a realm of empowerment and enchantment. It's about embodying the fantasy, not escaping into fantasy.
