Hello world! My name is Eros, and I'm a singer-songwriter here in the beautiful city of New York.

I’ve been a singer-songwriter since I was in high school, and I’ve been a performer since college, from choirs, to opera, to music theater, to my own music, and television. Music has existed in so many mediums for me throughout my life. Whether professionally on stage or intimately in living rooms during blissful jam sessions. The vulnerability of it and the courage it inspires has brought me to this point. The day dreamer in me has created some amazing things to share.

The material is ready, and the musicians are waiting -- this Plaid Dog campaign is the final step toward creating my first ever, professionally produced studio album.

This campaign is raising funds for my professionally recorded album with Mike Davidson in Boston, MA. Mike is a Boston-based producer and engineer with 15+ years of experience working with both established and up-and-coming musicians. Together, Mike and I are digging into my original material, writing arrangements, and reaching out to local musicians to bring the songs to life. 

While I haven’t made it to Boston yet due to the current health crisis, I will––and I know this album will be worth the wait! In the meantime, I’ve been able to cover the costs of recording and producing a demo of one song remotely, with the assistance of some pretty amazing technology.

This first song is called “Homeward,” and you can check it out below!

While I’ve been able to fund this initial recording process for "Homeward" on my own, to create an album of songs with full production and professional quality, studio costs add up quickly. With that said, this campaign can give us a unique opportunity to collaborate and make great art together. Your donation will cover the following costs of my project:

1. Pre-Production: This is where everything starts. Mike and I will start crafting the arrangements for each song slated for the album. We’ll hold rehearsals to fine-tune the songs and arrangements and talk through new and exciting ideas for how to approach the recording process.

2. Recording: This is when we enter the studio and start capturing the music and where the songs become what you'll hear on this album. This campaign will play a huge role in making sure we have enough time to capture great performances for every member of the band.

3. Mixing & Mastering: Each track will get mixed to create the right balance between instruments, texture and color that make up a track. As a final step, the album will be mastered from beginning to end so that the listening experience is cohesive and carefully choreographed from start to finish.

It's hard to express how much this project would change my life.

Music has provided me with a purpose. It’s driven every decision in my life, every morning and night. How I live my life is fueled by the freedom and the beautiful vulnerability music has provided. I lost sight of my music a while ago, and revisiting it this past year, during a pandemic, has brought courage and confidence and an immense sense of self that I thought I had lost.

There have been so many people in my life that have provided me with seeds of encouragement. I may not have know it at the time, but they planted inspiration in me. They gave me the tools to pave my own path through music. My voice teacher took nourishing mother-like care for something so raw like a person's voice. My chosen family constantly supported me by simply just listening. My boyfriend gave unconditional cheerleading and thoughts. My roommates cultivated a home in which music is a religion. All the amazing artists I’ve had the opportunity to work with taught me artistry, and grace, and courage, and soul - blissful abandonment.

I’ve never recorded music at this caliber before, but I have had many life changing and inspiring instances and moments with music and theater and the unparalleled relationship between myself and an audience. I have photographed and bonded with some amazing humans who provided me with so many gifts for simply existing. All of these moments, these people, have been part of this bigger picture that has brought me to this moment with my words and my music. With your support, I will cultivate my experiences and inspiration into something beautiful to share with you.
