Hello world! My name is Erini, and I'm a singer-songwriter here in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, California.

I grew up in Greece, where I also started getting into music by taking piano classes. I have been writing and performing ever since, playing rock and pop at local bars, jamming soul and funk tunes at my friends back porch, and singing jazz and blues at restaurants around the city. Every single one of these experiences has helped me with my songwriting, my lyrics and melodies. I am now able to express myself through my music. The only thing left is to open up my heart and mind and share everything with you! 

The material is ready, and the musicians are waiting -- this Plaid Dog campaign is the final step toward creating my first ever, professionally produced studio album.

This campaign is raising funds for my professionally recorded album with Bryan Fennelly in Boston, MA. Bryan is a Boston-based producer and engineer with experience working with both established and up-and-coming musicians. Together, Bryan and I are digging into my original material, writing arrangements, and reaching out to local musicians to bring the songs to life. 

We’ve been able to cover the costs of recording and producing a demo preview of one song remotely, which is ready for you to check out right here on this page. This first song is called “Mister,” and you can check it out below!

While I’ve been able to fund this initial recording process for "Mister" on my own, to create a professional album of songs with studio quality and full production, studio costs add up quickly. With that said, this campaign can give us a unique opportunity to collaborate and make great art together. Your donation will cover the following costs of my project:

1. Pre-Production: This is where everything starts. Bryan and I will start crafting the arrangements for each song slated for the album. We’ll hold rehearsals to fine-tune the songs and arrangements and talk through new and exciting ideas for how to approach the recording process.

2. Recording: This is when we enter the studio and start capturing the music and where the songs become what you'll hear on this album. This campaign will play a huge role in making sure we have enough time to capture great performances for every member of the band.

3. Mixing & Mastering: Each track will get mixed to create the right balance between instruments, texture and color that make up a track. As a final step, the album will be mastered from beginning to end so that the listening experience is cohesive and carefully choreographed from start to finish.

It's hard to express how much this project would change my life.

Music has the power of bringing people together and healing. It is a way for everyone to express their feelings and to feel closer to everything that's surrounding us. For the first time in my life, I feel sure about my way of expression and my emotions, and want to share my music with everyone that wants to join this journey. 

Music, for me, is all the people that have helped me progress and become better. It’s my family that has supported me and shown me all that the world has to give, my friends that have seen me perform over and over again, my incredible musician friends, my first ever band, and even the people that haven’t been so kind to me. Every single one of them, in their own way, have helped me become stronger not only as a person but as a musician as well. With music I want to spread love, make anyone that is listening, connect with their surroundings and accept everyone for who they are. I have received love and acceptance from so many people in my life and want to give it back!

Till this point, I never had something complete and cohesive, but with a lot of hard work and dedication I am now more than ready to show you what I've been working on. Join me to this adventure and let's create something beautiful, new and exciting together!
